The Brief: Full Branding for a Grammy-Nominated Artist
When Grammy-Nominated trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf launched his ambitious project "T.I.M.E.X", he didn't just need background videos; he needed a complete visual identity.
Cuz. Studio was entrusted with the Full Art Direction of the tour alongside Mercer. This went beyond the stage: we designed the global branding and the entire visual universe of the show. The challenge was to create a cohesive aesthetic that could translate the complex, timeless nature of his music into a visual language displayed on massive arena screens.
Our "AI Summer Camp": 4 Months of R&D
This project was the true kick-off for Cuz. Studio, our foundational "AI Summer Camp". We locked ourselves in the studio for four months, pushing the limits of what was technically possible at the very beginning of the Generative AI revolution. It was a period of intense exploration. We weren't just using tools; we were beta-testing the future of creativity. This immersive R&D phase allowed us to master the workflow that would become our signature.
The Early-Adopter Tech Stack
To bring T.I.M.E.X to life, we utilized the very first iterations of generative video. We built complex pipelines using ComfyUI to control our generations with node-based precision. We leveraged the raw, experimental aesthetic of Midjourney (Early Versions) and Runway Gen-2 to create textures that felt organic and never-before-seen. Designing 20 evolving tableaux with these emerging tools required distinct technical expertise, turning this tour into a pioneering showcase of AI Art Scenography.
